Day 3: Advance Your Coaching Journey
Day 3 at the Pilates Summit offers a dual pathway to enhance your movement and teaching skills.
Option 1, led by Marc Coronel at Club Pilates Steiner Ranch, is a five-hour workshop titled “Active Recovery Coach: Foundations Level 1.” In this session, you’ll learn practical techniques using the foam roller, trigger point ball (MB1), and the larger ball (MB5) to improve movement feedback, refine body mechanics, and design customized recovery programs for both restorative classes and private sessions.
Alternatively, Option 2 at Club Pilates North Burnet presents a sequential, innovative approach. Dr. Sydney Jobe, PT, DPT, guides a one-hour Pelvic Floor Pre and Post Natal Workshop that covers essential pelvic floor principles, exercise modifications, and effective cueing for optimal women's health. This is followed by a four-hour course with Charlie Qureshi, “Unlock a New Dimension of Pilates with the TYE4X!”—introducing a revolutionary wearable reformer that enhances support, proprioception, and resistance training. Together, these sessions provide comprehensive strategies to elevate your practice through active recovery and innovative Pilates instruction.

Workshop Title: Unlock a New Dimension of Pilates with the TYE4X!
Workshop Description: Experience Pilates like never before with the TYE4X, a revolutionary wearable reformer designed to enhance support, proprioception, and resistance training. Originally created by Joan Breibart, the TYE4X features a comfortable, adjustable harness worn on the torso, with bungees that attach to both hands and feet—allowing for a fully integrated movement experience.
In this dynamic 5 hour course, you will explore the TYE4X’s powerful benefits through Standing Pilates, which you can use in your Barre and Control Classes, Circular Pilates, Mat Pilates, and more! By utilizing the TYE4X’s bungee tension system, you'll improve alignment, tensegrity, and overall body awareness while engaging stabilizing muscles that are often overlooked. The added resistance allows you to access movements that may have previously felt impossible, unlocking new levels of strength, control, and fluidity.
Best of all? You’ll receive your very own TYE4X to take home, so you can continue refining your practice and deepening your connection to movement beyond the course. Whether you’re a Pilates enthusiast or an instructor looking to elevate your teaching, this course will transform how you experience Pilates—and leave you inspired to move, explore, and grow!
What You'll Need: Please bring a long sleeve shirt and pants to make wearing the TYE4X more comfortable and please bring your own mat to ensure we have enough for everyone.
